As a registered Non-Profit Company under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013, we rely on donations to fund our ongoing field projects, including mangrove restoration, disaster relief, and community welfare. Because these funds are immediately deployed to our active missions, we maintain a structured policy regarding cancellations and refunds.
1. Donations
- General Policy: All donations made to the Sukher Swarga Foundation are voluntary and are considered final. We are generally unable to process refunds for donations once they have been successfully completed.
- Technical Errors / Duplicate Transactions: In the event that a technical glitch occurs and a donation is debited multiple times, or if an incorrect amount is entered due to a system error, we will gladly review and rectify the issue.
- To request a refund for a duplicate or erroneous transaction, please contact us at info@sukherswarga.org (cc: sukherswargafoundation@gmail.com) within 7 days of the transaction date.
- You must provide proof of the deduction, the transaction date, and the transaction ID generated by the payment gateway.
2. Processing Refunds
- Once your genuine technical refund request is received and verified, we will initiate the refund process.
- Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment source (Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI) used during the transaction.
- Please allow 5 to 7 working days for the refunded amount to reflect in your account, depending on your bank’s processing cycles.
3. Tax Exemption Certificates (80G)
- If a refund is approved and processed for a donation, any 80G tax exemption certificate issued for that specific transaction will be rendered null and void.
- Donors are legally required not to claim tax deductions on refunded contributions.
4. Cancellation of Recurring Support
- If you have opted for a recurring donation profile and wish to cancel future commitments, you can do so at any time.
- Please email us at least 5 business days before your next scheduled deduction date so we can halt the automated payment cycle.
