A Green Tribute: Celebrating Nirmal Raghavan’s Birthday with the Mangrove Bachao Project

Today, on the birthday of Mr. Nirmal Raghavan (Dada), a true environmental hero and the visionary founder of Mega Foundation, we at Sukher Swarga Foundation decided to celebrate in a way that resonates with his mission.

A Special Gift for a Green Warrior

To honor Nirmal Dada’s relentless work in Chennai and across India—especially his dedication to water conservation and reforestation—we have planted 5 Mangrove trees in the Sundarbans under our “Mangrove Bachao Project.” While he works tirelessly with his team at Mega Foundation to transform landscapes, we wanted to dedicate this small gesture from the heart of the Sundarbans to him.

Our Journey: 5 Lakh Mangroves and CountingAt Sukher Swarga Foundation, our mission has always been to protect the fragile ecosystem of the Sundarbans. We are proud to share that we have already planted 5 Lakh (500,000) mangroves.
